The Methodist Church Chapeltown

Mini-Me`s, at The Methodist Church Chapeltown, is a toddler group aimed at parents, carers and families with babies and young children. We meet every Thursday (term time only) at 10:00am-11:30 and is organised by church volunteers*.

Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are encouraged to develop learning and skills, through various structured play activities and sensory experiences. We provide activities at floor and table level as well as whole group situations.

Stories and songs are offered in group sharing times as well as the opportunity for children to come together, around tables, for drinks and snacks. Refreshments are also available for the adults too.

Volunteers and parents are encouraged to offer support and suggestions for activities alongside our usual provision, particularly if there is something that they would like their own child/children to experience.

At special times in the Methodist church calendar, families are given the opportunity to take part in our festivals and worship, especially at Easter and Christmas time. We also help families celebrate the children’s birthdays and offer a listening ear to parents and carers.
